Stage 1, 2, 3 — What is the difference?

Each level matches a specific mechanical configuration. Choosing the right file is essential for gains that are both real and safe.

Stage 1
Standard vehicle, no mechanical work needed. The file optimises the factory engine map on its own.

Identify the vehicle and the level
Find the file in the library that matches your customer's brand, engine, ECU and Stage level.

Load the file into your software
Open the tune file in WinOLS or whichever software you use. Check the main maps. Adapt them if the particular vehicle calls for it.

Yes, the files are calibrated and ready to use. We always recommend checking the main maps (injection, ignition, boost) before flashing a customer's vehicle. Every engine varies slightly. The files are an optimised base, not a bespoke custom file.
The files work with WinOLS principalement, and depending on the format, with other ECU file editors. They can be read, checked and modified in WinOLS before being flashed through your usual OBD interface (KESS, Flex, MPPS and so on).
The Damos Mega Pack holds definition files that identify maps in WinOLS — it is an analysis tool. The Tune Megapack holds already-modified maps, ready to flash — it is a production tool. The two complement each other: use the Damos to identify maps, and the Tune to deliver quickly.
